It's just not Halloween without Count Dracula playing Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor.

Here are a few more. Enjoy!

Bruhns

Mussorgsky

Wagner

Chopin

Saint Saëns

Grieg

Russian Folk Song

What pieces would you add?

I would certainly add the following classical piece for Halloween.

Dreams of a Witches Sabbath (Fifth Movement) from Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz.

Use these as key words at youtube.com. You can listen and judge for your self.

Parts of this compostion were used as background music in the Jack Nicholson, Shelly Duval horror movie classic, "The Shining".

I might add Mike Oldfield, Tubular Bells... I know it's technically not classical music per say, but it's got a lot of classical instruments!

The beginning was used as the score to the Exorcist.

Sorry for the late post, KYP..........but hope this puts you back on the tracker.

I so enjoy your favourites from above, they are amongst my own as well. Such great artists. Nothing like the classics.

Thanks for your contributions to this group.

No I'm not shouting I just can't get the bold button turned off.

All the Best, and Happy Holidays to you and yours,

Kara
